Well, over the last couple of days I have been attempting to design a website for St. George's Prep School. Not going well. This type of web design is so far away from anything I have done before; making buttons for Dad's Family pics website on Fireworks and creating a site all about smiley faces :s with Mr Wolf in Year 8 on Microsoft Word. It's so hard to get everything looking like a real website and there is too many buttons for me to get my head around!
I have also done some user guides for Rewrite this week aswell as typing up some problems from a customer. How many things can go wrong on one website?! On Tuesday I started the day with learning about HTML. Now I realise why [c 647] [c/647] appear around my writing on Windows Live Messenger.
It's lovely to have access to fast internet too! For months now I have put up with the excruciatingly slow dial up internet connection at home.
Uncle Phil's taking me flying this afternoon. Quite nervous really. I promised Mum on the phone that I will not die! Fingers crossed I will keep this promise. :)

Battle of the Consoles: the Wii vs. PS3
The fight for the top in the gaming world between the Wii and the PS3 had divided gamers world wide. The inivative design of the Wii brings a new light to gaming, allowing people to wave about a small white stick whilst taking over the world of Super Mario Brothers, the PS3 has ports for Memory Stick, SD, and compact flash. It has 4 USB slots. It’s got WiFi, it’s got a 60Gb (easily upgradeable) hard drive, it plays Blu-Ray discs out of the box, and it’s got touch sensitive buttons. Oh yes!
The Wii seems to outdo the PS3 in the populartiy stakes and appeals to younger children as a diffent way of gaming as well as appealing to the older market too, claiming it imporves fitness and can burn as many calories as an hour session at the gym. With this the PS3 seems to be overshadowed but has had a surprising amount of interest mainly from the older, more technological gamers who believe that graphics is everything.
At £180 the Wii seems better value for money compared to the £426 Playstation and what amazes me is why anyone would spend so much money. The price is so exterme that Sony actually make a huge loss on each console sold and so rely on sales of the individual games.
So, if you really hate the man behind Sony, buy all the PS3's in bulk and let them sit in a container and watch Sony become bankrupt!

New Blog
Sooo... don't really know what to say! Well so far I have set up this blog account and sat in a team meeting. I found out some of the jobs that the different people do here and here I am now, typing. I think that is sufficient writing for now. :)
